Gran Bahia Principe Coba

I guess I will have to go back to my favorite Hotel in Riviera Maya! The Gran Bahia Principe in Akumal has been my favorite hotel in all the Riviera Maya region for years, and I miss all the great food and fun that I had at the Coba section of the Gran Bahia Principe......I even miss my favorite iguana that was there for me every morning at breakfast time!

This hotel may be far away from Cancun and Playa del Carmen, but it has been one of the best vacations ever in Mexico!

When I travel, I always know that if I get to chose a Bahia Principe Hotel I will be delighted with the comfort of the room, the service provided by the hotel staff...and will be more than delighted with the food served in all their restaurants. My first Gran Bahia Principe vacation was in September 2007 in Punta Cana....and I will always give priority to a Gran Bahia Principe Hotel!

The Grand Bahia Principe Coba is part of a hotel complex with the Grand Bahia Principe Akumal and the Grand Bahia Principe Tulum hotel, and also the Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an Don Pablo Collection hotel.

The Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort Complex is located near the city of Akumal, at about 1.5 hour from the Cancun Airport and 45 minutes from the city of Playa del Carmen where you can go by taxi or the little buses known as colectivos. (you just need to reach the Hacienda near the highway (autopista) with the hotel shuttles, and it costs about $2 per person one way trip)

The maya ruins of Tulum are really close by, and are worth the short trip.

I have been twice to the Gran Bahia Principe Coba hotel in Riviera Maya in the past 3 years, and have enjoyed it so much that I would like to talk more about this fabulous hotel.

The best about the Gran Bahia Principe hotel is that everything is great, and you will never be disappointed by the staff, activities and the great food from the restaurants.
